1.)what we done this week was go on adobe premier pro, took a couple of clips of a cartoon then went on sound cloud and grabbed noises which we then put it onto our work
2.)what i fount easy was when we used the slr camera i fount working with different apertures. 3.)what i fount most difficult was using different iso.

4.) the skills/research i will take going forward is learn about the aperture more, the different settings on the camera and when to make the iso go higher or lower.
Week 13
5.) how it will help my projects is going forward is now that i've used different iSO's it'll expand my photography even further and help me achieve the grade i need in this course.
what we did yesterday was use the AV setting on the camera and we kept on switching thee f stop, if we use a low f stop the background will be more blurry and the person who you're taking a photograph that means the depth of field will be lower, if you use a higher f stop then the background will be more clearer and the person who you're photographing will come out more blurry.
the smaller the number than higher the aperture will go and it's basically the same with a low aperture, the bigger the number is, is how low the aperture will turn out to be.
Project 3:
What I done last week in lesson is search up the pink floyd exhibition and what it is about. What I researched about it was about a un paralleled and audio vision world.
Recently I done research on Youyoi Kusama and what her work is about, what I like about her work, who influenced her, her most famous work. I also researched about Chiharu Shiota and what her work is about, why I like her work, what artists influenced her and how I can use her work in what I'm doing for project two
For project three I'm starting do research about continious, montage and parallel editing techniques. Once I researched about this I had to find three examples of each editing style and find a examples films with the following: continious, montage and parallel editing.
What I have done today is I've added my story template to my project 3 continuity and montage. What we had to do for these story boards is pick a tragic event which happened in 2020. I chose to the wild fires which struck everywhere in Australia early on in 2020.
During the past week I have been updating my linked in page and added the screenshots to my page, why I made the page, what the page will do for me in the future, how it will help me, the various job offers it has to offer me.
I had to make a new story board on one of the incidents from 2020. From March until August we were placed in a national lockdown. End of December we were placed in a third national lockdown so I decided to base my new story board on 3 lockdown routines I've been used to doing for the last 6 months to a year.
I finally managed to successfully upload my video edit onto my project 3 (continuity and montage) I chose to video myself brushing my teeth and turning on my PlayStation.
What I've been doing for the past week is updating my project three page on my six account adding everything I've been told to add where I haven't got round to doing that yet.
Final major project:
What I've been focusing on is my final major project. For this I had to do something that was based off the theme of horror, I chose to do a horror book magazine article. For this I will be doing a double paged spread on the author Stephen King and three of his books in which I've chose.
I had to do a 4 week word document on what my final piece is about and why I done it and how I planned it.
I finally created my final piece for my double page magazine spread. On this double page magazine spread I added some detail about Stephen King, his went on to talk about the three books and what theme the books are, added a picture of the three books, Stephen King and myself.
I got my evaluation for my final major project all done and completed
At the moment I'm currently working on the 2021 olympic games which are being held in Tokyo, Japan. I had to create my own version of the olympic rings on photoshop.
On Friday I made my noises I wanted to use for my room on logic pro x, the sounds I added was laughing, crying, applause, forest sounds, some birds cheeping, people going ahh, people booing, someone pulling zome string and a relxed beat.
I had to research about what continuity is in film making and why people use it in their films. Once I researched about this I then researched about montage editing style and why people use it in their films. After I researched about continuity and montage editing style I then started to do research on parallel editing style and why people use it in their films
I had to then research about target audience and what it means and once I done that I uploaded the definition to my wix.
The three lockdown routines I chose were me brushing my teeth, getting my breakfast ready and turning on my PlayStation 4. The editing style I used for this is a continuity editing style.
I had to then research about continuity mistakes and find five examples of it in tv shows/ films. Once I fount the five mistakes I had to write about the mistakes
When I get back to college I will have to start doing two minute films on either of the following film style continuity, parallel or montage, once I have done this it will then go onto my wix page
Once I took the videos and placed them on my wix, I had to write about the reason why I done the video and what I can improve on. I also wrote about what I focused on when I done this video edit.I'm going to write about what I liked about the three video edits.
What I've been doing for the past few months is I've been updating my project 3 (continuity and montage). What I've done is start the Lev Kuleshov effect. What I done in this Lev Kuleshov effect is who he is and said what the Lev Kuleshov effect is, as well as that I added 5 examples the Kuleshov effects in which they've been filmed in for films/ tv shows. Quite recently I had to watch a documentary about the history of editing and on this documentary I started to talk about three film editors and these three film editors are the Lumiere brothers, Dw Griffith and Edwin S Porter and I also added about the modern film techniques you use. What else I am doing for project three is a screen writing format, and on this screen writing format I had to write a 1 minute script, and on this 1 minute script I based it off a scary, abandoned house. What else I have ben doing for project three is cinematography and lighting. The thing I'm currently working on now is my risk, on this risk subpage it is a page where I talked about what a risk is, why actors use risk assessments, the biggest risk I've ever taken and on top of this I had 4 PDF documents and on these documents I had to screenshot risks that could happen, I also had to find three movies that had accidents in them and once I fount examples in which happened in the movies I had to write up about how the accident occurred, whether they suffered long term injuries or died on the scene, as well as writing up about the negatives in which happened I had to write up about how it could've been prevented, I also wrote about how we can evaluate risks, and now I'm currently working on possible risks in 4 separate locations and writing about how we can control it and make it a safe place to film.
Aperture is a hole in which light travels through. the aperture and focus length of an optical system determines the cone and the amount of light which comes into the photo. it determines the light, the depth of field and sharpness of how your picture comes out.
Project 2:
Today we done our furniture for our room and my theme that I chose was emotions. I made a fidget spinner bed and one side I had happy, the second side I had sad, the third side I have done angry and the fourth side i'm doing all the different emotions that i haven't used.
What I've done so far for project two is make a room with four walls on photoshop. I then designed what I want my furniture to be likeon photoshop, I then went and drew up my final design by hand. On photoshop I created four wallpapers to my rooms, when it came to designing my final design for my wallpaper I used a green background and I put a happy family followed by a happy emoji, I then used pepe the frog (sad) and used a sad emoji, I then used someone running in fear and added the fear emoji and the final one I added was calmness and for that I added someone meditating and a emoji.
What I done recently was update project two of my wix- my Tom & Jerry page. What I done was put on there how I done the video edit, how I got the clip, what I done to that clip, the sounds I had to use.
I done a project two evaluation on our soundscapes, what I had to write on this evalaution was how difficult I fount it, how I planned my final piece, what I learnt while I done my final piece, my successes in this final piece and how this project will help me in the future
Project 4:
For the past 4 Thursday's and Friday's, I've been working on a new project, project 4. Project 4 is social media marketing, for the first two Thursday's and Friday's I've been working hard on choosing 6 Instagram influencers. once I fount these 6 influencers I took a screenshot of their account and had answer 6 questions about them and I had to write 250-300 word on why I think they're good influencers. Quite recently I've being working on updating my fubar page and I had to choose a artist from this fubar page and I chose a artist called Abbie Hart and I had to write about why I liked her work, what influences me about it etc etc, and for task 1 I focused on their website and answered the following 5 questions.
What I have done today is brainstorm ideas for my banner that I am designing for fubar, this banner will be for either a twitter account or a youtube account which fubar are making.
On Friday I had to go on the Fubar Instagram and had to choose two posts. One post suggesting the low amount of likes on their posts and had to write about why it got low likes and I then had to choose one of their posts which got high likes and had to write about why this post got high likes, if anybody is engaging in their comments section and what I like about the post they posted on their Instagram.
Work experience:
Today I started the 30 hours of work experience. Today I focused on task 1 and I had to watch loads of videos and once I finished watching these videos I had to write notes down on them and put them on my wix. For this work experience, I also had to do a series of questions and watch a series of links over 4 days of work experience which accumulated in me doing 30 hours. I also had to create a Barclays life skill account and on this Barclays life skill account I had to create a wheel of strengths and on this wheel of strengths it gave me a list of traits and it also helped me show what I would like my career path to be in the near and distant future. On day two of me doing my work experience I was gifted a task of asking what I feel like a average day of work would look like and after I wrote up about that I then went back on the Barclays life skill app and had to create a CV. On this CV I made I added all my details people needed such as my phone number, my email address my post code, I then went on to adding a personal statement and on this personal statement I wrote my college, my age and my personal interests. I then went on to say about my work experience and when it came to the end of me creating my CV I added a list of 8 traits which I feel that suits me not as a person but as work college or mate to someone.
